A miffed glare across the ocean, Wonder of what happened to the trust!

Paranoia became my only friend, the rest left I to strife

One moment a blood bond, the next a colliding bust.

Me myself and I, I truly am alone in this life!

Grown friends, now alone they fend.

Backstabbers dig deep for the kill, must run for cover.

Unconditional loyalty how had it past?

The tides can change with the bitter trends

A compass displaying unmapped directions, forget about that past lover.

Those emotional scars can counter with a blast.

The boat alike, my heart had begun to rust

Nobody stood behind me, how rife.

Picture memories blew across the sea in a gust

My last resort to protect my life was nothing but a bowie knife.

Life’s no rollercoaster, it’s a raft ripped round the currents bends.

From honour to thief, there goes my brother

Picture memories haunt me; I need to set the mast fast

No matter my choice will I ever escape these ends?

A lying cheating crack addict, there goes my father!

Maybe across the abyss, lies my peace at last.
