12:00 Am/pm

It is such an annoying little light, the perpetually flashing 12:00 on the VCR. It is probably some secret code that only small children, pets, and other machines understand.
No matter what is done the VCR there’s that glowing 12:00 winking at you? Does the contraption know a secret that it is going to keep?
The explanation that satisfies me is that the machines are trying to drive us crazy.
Yah you heard me. I think the things have a life of their own.
It’s a conspiracy against the human race. A virus of you will. And it’s spreading. The clock that flashes on the TV and won’t stay set, the microwave, wrist watches that screw up time. They all know.
They are controllers of the human society, one based on time. If they control time they control us.
Ever wonder why the computer won’t start up right?
They are aware!
