Tear all my strings
when I fall down
I come home
To hear the siren
Of a smoke signal
I reply by flying up
Out of the chasm
To tie a knot
A message sent by sky
is rejected by a lie
The smoke is really fog
Forget it
(pause)

My absurd goodbye
interrupted by
apologia...
that flings me above the smoke.
my strings lift me high
until I find a lie
Remind me its just fog.
I fall
Burn all my strings
and I can’t fly
I can’t leave.
and I’ll never hear from you again...
