Relief floods over my body,
______________
To see you alive for another day,
____________________
It is beyond joy.
________
But my instinct comes out,
_______________
To scold what you have done,
_______________
Don’t stand there and pout.
_______________
Drinking is very bad for you,
_______________
You mustn’t do it anymore,
________________
For there are people who love you.
___________________
I grab your arm to try and stop you,
__________________
But you being twice as large,
_____________
You easily pull away.
__________
Tears fall to the floor,
____________
As the door slams in my face.
____________
Little did I know,
_________
That that was the last time I’ll see your face.
