Sometimes a longer life is not always a better one

I've been living for so long

I've seen kingdoms through ages fall

I've held the hands of time

And seen the children cry

The blood stained sheets

The broken hearts

The tattered souls

On down to the plutonian shore

I was there at birth

I'll be there at death

Times of fate in a single breath

Ides of March the wind will blow

Crumble down to seas below

Mountains fade

Trees will burn

The forest a light tonight

In time the story goes

In time memories fade

A single blow to the mind

A single shot a floating dot

Look for me on the horizon

Look for me this night

Upon the ravens breast at night

A note doth cling in the moonlight

A note of love of peace, regret

A note to cause the tears of all

A passing of time

A passing of will

The angels reign upon high

Welcome home a child of time

Welcome home a child so blind

Grasp for you savior

A broken pariah

You saved this soul in this dark blight

Lay him down with all the rest

The broken, the shattered, the poor, the maimed.

Lay him down upon the tree

Forever fall with sudden glee

In peace He lies

In peace He died

In peace under the tree

Fall to pieces now

Dig at the ground

He is gone now to the angels who reign upon high.
