It’s the morning in Baghdad, Ahmad a child of 9 years old leaves his house like he do every day searching his father who was not coming back to his home since the fall of Baghdad from 3 months ago.

Ahmad’s father was a soldier in the Iraq army, he went to the frontline to defend his city, and from this time no one knows anything about him. Ahmad brings with him a small picture of his father and travels in the streets asking people if one of them has shown the man in the picture. This day finally an old man tells Ahmad: “yes this face is familiar to me, I know a man who comes every day sitting under the tree in front of you to clean and polish the shoes of the passengers for a small amount of money.” Ahmad sat in a hidden place near the tree. Hours pass without bringing anything new, so Ahmad decided to leave. Suddenly he saw a poor man with dirty clothes coming to seat under the tree.

Ahmad gave a look in the face of this man, “he look like the face of my father” Ahmad said, but he wasn’t sure. 2 hours later the man got up and Ahmad follow him.

The man stopped at the mail post, he took out 10 Dirhams and putted in a mail. Ahmad took a look on the mail, yes this is the mail that we receive every day, we thought first that this money is brought to us from the good men.

Ahmad left the place coming back to his home, he didn’t know if he was happy or sad finding his father in this case.
