There’s something about Mary

The way her skin glows

And her 45 pound emaciated skeleton

Looks so hot in her skin jeans

Extra loose boyfriend fit

A shell

More fragile than her self esteem

Painted of perfectly coiffed hair

And hidden shame

Sugar coated air

Like three-week-old Easter candy

Sweet in the most false sense of the word

A wisp of pop culture

Made in china

Branded across her sharp hip bones

War paint

Marks her place in the tribe

A reflection

Cast in an infinity pool of tears

A hand on her holy bible

People Magazine’s Style Watch

Do you swear to hide the truth

Of body, mind

And heart wrenching

Desires?

I do

A commitment to take the world as a husband

A drunkard

Slowly beating his painfully deflowered wife

Stripping her naked

And throwing her out on the street

To be worshipped
