What more a curse than to be born
and feel the hope and strength of new life
What more a curse than to grow strong
and feel the heat of never ending life
What more a curse than to be young
and hate yourself for all your imperfections
what more a curse than to be old
and regret the hate for there were none
what more a curse than to be beautiful
and not realise that beauty is in youth
what more a curse than to be wise
when all the strength and beauty has ceased
what more a curse than to live and love
and only strive each day to survive
what more a curse to know by now
that after all this living we can only die.
