Death is coming in the eerie light
He stalks his prey into the night
Devoid of life death will always be
An inner yearning to be free
Lives lost and death their keeper
Lay your eyes upon the grim reaper
Paved with souls in the fires
Hell’s shadow walk knows the liars
If death and all his friends do seek
The wisdom of those who protect the weak
In death do all our hopes despair?
Leading the way to paradise or hell’s fiery lair
Life is cruel but death is worse
It binds you in eternities curse
But when the moon shines full and bright
You see the spirits walk the night
And magic’s veil uplifts to see
The keeper of death, come for me
And so my life winks out like and ember
Leaving those left to remember

The rhyme is perfect and the flow almost. A really good poem I enjoyed the read. A good one to read around a campfire at night Well written

wow this is amazing! you used plenty of "juicy words" as my best friend calls them. loved it! but hey on the second to last line you wrote :"And so my life winks out like and ember" did you mean like an ember? if not my bad just thought id point that out.
