What do we give up for temporary happiness?

This wasn't me.

This broken girl you see;

drowning in tears

plotting deaths conspiracy.

I wasnt this cold,

so numbed by pain.

Wasnt so fragile

so easy to break.

Why, can I ask,

did you take away my faith,

take away my confidence,

and replace it with pain?

Why?

Oh little girl,

heart cold as stone

I have done nothing,

I simply threw you a bone

You took the bait.

You clenched your teeth

you took that little treat

and consumed your defeat.

You chose to leave your happiness

and instead follow me.

Oh you, pretty girl,

cannot blame this on me.

This is on you.

For I simply played my part.

I gave you your  fun

in trade for your heart.

Twisted... good, but twisted. I wonder how many people who've played this game with the hearts of others bother to even get this far in thinking about what they've done. Well, done.
