Lavender grips a metal spoon.

It's unbending under pressure from another.

Unknown to her she'll be dying soon

like slowly expiring in the arms of a mother.

As Mom's tears dribble pleadingly on that face,

what that person is marching towards still can't be erased,

as how Lavender's flesh rubs incessantly against the surface of the metal,

the spoon waits until the matter is settled.

As Lavender squeezes with wrapped hands around,

the object in question makes no sound.

As Lavender exhausts her bodily heat,

the object feels replete

with the duty to duly be her sponge

until she's done with this plunge

in order to show her how much it is her friend

and THAT to the inevitable end.
