Rock Bottom

I have hit rock bottom,

Harder this time than ever before.

How can I take it anymore?

I am filled with suffering,

But still I search for hope.

I can't climb up, I have no rope.

No one can see my misery,

But within me it still persists.

I can't find any bliss.

In this dark and dreary place

I long to feel the sun again,

So warm against my face.

Now while I'm here,

I do not fear,

For God is with me near.

When will I be happy again,

When will I get a break,

For goodness sake?
