Silence

by ~MEBwrittings

As the noise slowly disappears
Silence is starting to ring in my ears
Calling to me softly yet much more deafening than noise
Gone is every sound including my voice
Gently going like a sweet refrain
Ever so sweetly in the falling rain
Wondering if anyone would ever notice
How precious and wonderful music this is
It's in the cool whispers of the summer air
I wish I could I could hear it once more
But I cannot bring back what happened before
Including my sight is going away
I'm starting to admire the light of day
It's a pity I never did in the past
Now I'm just praying that this memory will last
