4. Love and War

What sin is there to find

In blushing pilgrim’s kiss?

The star-crossed lovers prance

Around with new found bliss.

In which the marriage plays

An act, selfish, selfless,

Hindered by greed, by hate

An endless game of chess.

Two houses, both alike

In loathing, scorn, are met

With a grief they must share.

Their most painful regret.

For Romeo will die

And Juliet as well.

All’s fair in love and war,

But war and love make hell.
