Open up your eyes,

You sleepy head

And gaze upon the cherry apple sky!

Today shall bring a storm

That’s pours down a rainy blood!

So, cover your head with your hood

And hideaway as you should,

Protect yourself from the fairy spite

And the sting of a cold winter’s night!

Least you should join the dead

In the prison of an icy land!
