These words are scribbled, barely legible,

On the pages of a burned out notebook.

No power in my house, didn’t pay the bill,

On this candle lit night, do I write down,

What I think, with my blood as my ink.

Just like kamikaze pilot, I’m going down,

Can I get through without a nervous breakdown.

Just like plantlife in the winter, my heart froze,

That’s when all my thoughts transposed,

And got all fucked up and backwards,

They got me trying to go towards the light.

I wanna just lean back and fall off of the skyscraper,

And just drift off and disappear like water vapor,

Into the atmosphere,

And I just die in the northern hemisphere.

My hands grow weak, numb and shaky,

And my memories have all gone hazy.

Wake me up when December ends,

As I walk the line between life and death.

The technicolor daydreams fade away,

And turn to bleak nightmares, much to my dismay.

Everything is a shade of black mixed with gray,

I turn my back and drive away on an infinite highway.

Everything just repeats itself, day after day,

And these ticking clocks are laughing at me again.

My blood is inside of my ink pen that I’m using,

Staining the pages of a burned out notebook.

Let me fall from the top of my, depressive skyscraper,

And I fade into the upper atmosphere like water vapor.

You tried, but I still died in the northern hemisphere,

I left you a necklace and this notebook, as souvenirs.

These words are scribbled, barely legible,

On the pages of a burned out notebook.

On this candle lit night, I’ll write down,

My final memoir with my own blood as my ink.
