Walking hand in hand at the fair

I know that you really care

You even won me a big ol’ teddy bear

And you rode on the merry- go- round with me

Eating a lot of candy cotton

This night will not be forgotten

You can chase the blues away by just talking

And you rode on the Ferris wheel with me

Arm in arm in the big top

I wish this night will never stop

You just laughed when the bag of popcorn dropped

And you rode on the roller coaster with me

In the haunted house you held me tight

And protected me from the things that go bump in the night

But when I screamed, I screamed with delight

And you rode in the bumper car with me

A pretty balloon from a silly clown

You can turn a frown upside down

I’m so happy the carnival came to town

As you walked hand in hand with me
