Have you ever thought of dying?
Leaving…without a trace?
This world we call Home?
Or are you not afraid of death?
Have you lived your life to the full?
Done everything you wanted to?
Have you smiled at all today?
Have you made someone’s day?
Have you ever thought of those less fortunate than us?
Those who lose a loved one all the time?
War victims, Third World natives, drug addicts…
Have you even once prayed for them?
I guess it matters not now really…
There are some who care, some who do not…
Thought you might just die tomorrow
Today…who’s Dead is dead, who’s Alive is alive.

very powrfull write and it really hits home for me, I no what you mean, how can such death and suffering still exist in todays world, its not because of the lack of prayer but the filthy govments who dont look into these unimportnat matters, we have the money just not the hearts, too much greed in todays world, great write though i really liked it well done!1

I'm very glad you like it! You are my first reviewer, the first kind person I've seen on this site! Much appreciated. If you want, you can read my other poems...that would be appreciated too!
