I found this recently in a file! Input is welcome -- suggestions/questions, please.

two doors;

to trust or to reject,

your promises of foreverness --

your heart speaks

and your mind follows,

building a bridge of sanity --

is this a true act?

society states it is just a dream,

that it will all end the same --

but I want to believe.

I sense deceit

and walk away,

yet I glance behind

to hope and pray.

This poem has me excited! I like the sounds of the words together. They're very intense.

i have to read the poem over again and my interpretation is that it's talking about one person's doubt in the faith he/she should have?

The poem is excellent in a way that it makes me think.
Good job on this one Melody.

I'm looking forward to more of your poetry, so just keep on writing:-)
