I Have Nothing

I have nothing

At this time

Nothing that rhymes

Very little time.

 

I am exhausted

And I think it’s the end

A time to rejoice

A time to amend.

 

The rides been well

There have been a few bumps

I’ve suffered some pain

Endured some lumps.

 

When all’s been done

I’d like to say

I’d do it again

Every single day.

 

To my children

Some sound advice

Drive an inexpensive car

And embrace some vice.

 

To my wife

Find a new man

Love him like me

All that you can.

 

I’ll see you in town

If you have some time

Maybe in Tangiers

I’m not that hard to find.
