I was meant to be preparing for an interview, but instead i wrote this, I was listening to Ludovico Einaudi and I think it provided some inspiration for this.

Beaujolais and sage,

You're the torrent and the time,

Mystery and fake

And all the time we take.

A counter in the sky

The gloomy backdrop set

You're the promise of the seas

The countenance of threat.

A mercury divine

A memory unwind

A mortal lividity

A temporary flush. Shhh.

You're a slip of daylight dawn

The shearer and the shorn

A heartbeat skip and slide away

Ropes that we let fray

You're unecessary soul

A missive never told

You're the sackcloth and the ash

A starlight smash and grab.
