I was about to turn of the computer for the evening, but then I decided to write this. It's not great, just a couple of minutes of speed thought - theres a thought eh?! Now to speed to bed.

Have you ever pricked a thorn

To see the blood?

Have you ever solidified a friendship

And let them dry like dirt?

Did you see the sunshine gaze

When the sky at night still stayed ablaze?

Have you ever heard the sound

Of the burgeoning underground?

I give you the sadness

I give you hope

I give you machines of hate

I give you the motor key

I gave the bloodied nose

And a serenity sceptre for the rest of time

And i do.

Have you heard the thunder,

As it cracks beneath our feet

To take you asunder

Like children make believe

I gave the mortal sin

I gave, to give you in

I gave, so frayed and cracked

I gave

So give it back.
