Distance comes between us, how many miles deceive us.

The forgotten sins of my forgotten soul

Sleepwalking awake, and away.

I've never ever been a good boy,

Never been a good girl

I've just been sleepwaking, away.

Gravel slips through my world worn hands,

No wait! I understand.

It's not me it's you, not you it's me

No one ever stays awake to see,

It's anyone, everyone who's weak

Discreet.

Would you meet me there? I wait awhile,

Distant miles between us

A restless slumber, tragic self

Selfless. Defenceless.

I command the indefensible,

Renew uncomprehensible,

Unopened mail, my murder trail.

Reprehensible.

Despense with me, it's not for real,

It's just a dream.
