I'm no more than a clown,

Outside I laugh, Inside I frown.

I present myself with joy,

As an idiot acting like a boy.

I present myself with such glee,

I present myself so falsely.

Inside I'm constantly in pain,

From displaying it I must refrain.

I'm the perfect actor,

My acting is my armor.

Behind the scenes are painful tales,

There are no sunny days or cocktails.

I'll give you smiles and laughter,

Yet inside me lies an ocean with no water.

I'm the person you admire and seek to be,

But believe me, You don't want to be me.
