What I in your life?

To me you were more than my wife.

You were my best friend,

The one I dared not offend.

You were my early sunlight,

My joy, glee and delight.

All my being was for you,

Everything I believed was untrue.

You were a figment of my imagination,

Of love no more than a bad interpretation.

The sky is still above my head,

But my sun is gone and dead.
