If I had one more chance,

I would ask her to the dance.

If I had a few more years,

I would dry away her tears.

If only I was granted time,

I would make her mine.

But life does turn her back,

Time is what I lack.

Why does life evade me,

Why do you now detest me?

But who am I to raise my voice?

Who am I to make such noise?

Yet, I cannot help but to coward in fear,

For I now the end is near.

Only If I had more time,

Is wanting life such a crime?
