A song I wrote about few random things I've been throwing around lately, but they come from the soul.

Automatic Doors.

Is it on the inside,
You feel?
Is it love or lust?
Pure trust.
This wasn’t supposed to happen,
Not to me,
Why me?
Running down the hallway,
The judge, the jury will get their say,
But automatic doors don’t open
For people like me

And the water drinks me in
I feel tempted
By the taste of cherries
And the flavour devours my mind
I’m curious
Does it taste like cherries?
Watching it on the TV
Like drowning in a foreign sea
It wasn’t supposed to happen
Not to me

So is it on the outside
You feel?
An instant spell, a hex
Pure sex
This wasn’t supposed to happen
Not to me
Why me?
On paper, I’d seem perfect to you
But I’m not made of paper, could be scissors or glue
Because automatic doors don’t open
For people like me

And the water drinks me in
I feel tempted
By the taste of cherries
And the flavour devours my mind
I’m curious
Does it taste like cherries?
Watching it on the TV
Like drowning in a foreign sea
It wasn’t supposed to happen
Not to me

Just love the one you love, be loved
Just accept and be accepted
Get stuck in the door
Be free
Run down the hallway
The jury can say whatever they say
I know someday
Automatic doors
Will open for me

I’m curious
Does it taste like cherries?
Automatic doors don’t open for people like me.
