Maintenance

I’m just a small child

I don’t need to be exposed

watching you smoke

breathing in excess

my lungs shrivel

asthma pains me

and you look and say

nothing sleep little boy

I’m scared and alone

bloody hemorrhage

from the nose

and tracing tracks

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home

I don’t know if I’m ready

I’m still in school

it’s too fast

no means no

get off

but I’m weak

and you’re too strong

hold me down with arms

I hope it feels good because I’ll kill you

and whatever you leave inside me

I’m done with you too

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home

Why because I’m that parent

oh just fucking do it

you stupid brat do it or I’ll

or I’ll

bruised and crying

I’m just like her

I’m just like him

baby mommy’s sorry

I don’t know why

I forget myself

I’ll go dry

I’ll be sober I

don’t forgive me

I should’ve controlled

maybe if your father

no it’s my responsibility

but if only I had help

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home
