I’ve tried to tell you
But you won’t hear
I’ve been screaming
In silent fear
My wrists are speaking
Unspoken words
My heart is screaming
Am I cursed?
I love you so
Can’t you see?
When you hurt yourself
You’re hurting me
Our hearts, my love
Are intertwined
Yours is dying
And so is mine
I’ve tried to tell you
To let you know
That you think I’m okay
But it isn’t so
I’m bleeding, love
Dying, crying
My guardian angels
They’ve stopped trying
I’m slipping away
But you won’t see
That by hurting yourself
You’re killing me
I smile, I laugh
But I’ve told you before
That no matter the mask
I’m always at war
Always fighting
The demons in my head
But I’ve come to realize
I’m already dead
I’ve been fighting so long
To stay alive
Been trying so hard
Just to survive
But in seventeen years
My heart never beat
Not once, not a whisper
No hope for me

"No matter the mask, i'm always at war..." Have a go at Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock by TS Elliot (Face to meet the faces you will meet). Loved this...
