Sleepless Hell

Living in this sleepless Hell
My conflict still remains
Insomnia is a joke with no laughter
For humor is for the well rested
I find my eyes starting to rebel
And my emotions are oddly insane
Sleepless hell, to which there is no cure
I’d sell my soul to the highest bid

Fading in this sleepless Hell
Wishing tomorrow never comes
I’ll say a prayer for my tomorrow
And the unfortunate people I encounter
Live or die its just as well
Losing sight of what I called fun
Love and life, now just sorrow
Mother earth, I’m losing sight of her

Paralyzed in this sleepless Hell
My emotions are incapable of motion
Stunned by the lack of sympathy
And receptiveness for what was once significant
Deadened, I create my own perfect shell
For which there is no need for commotion
I’m becoming fond of my own apathy
My mind: determined  turns to decadent
