It's not the way she feels
as I hold her close to me,
within the heat of such desire
which makes me love her so.
Limb entwined,
as our bodies become as one,
in such intense bliss.

Or the taste
of her flesh upon my tongue,
the sweet nectar of her womanhood
intoxicating me.
Addicted,
never wanting to stop,
as she explodes in such ecstasy.

None of these.
For it is when I awaken in the morning,
seeing her laying next to me.
The way the satin sheet covers her,
outlining every seductive curve
of her alluring body.
The sight of her,
reassuring of the love we share.

This is the real thing,
even though
all the others are
just as special.
Just as wondrous.
