I give you this ring of gold
to represent my eternal love
the vow of a unity between us
that will last a lifetime and beyond.
The diamond that sparkles so brilliantly
is the spark of a new life
which we shall start together
hand in hand
journey forth into dawn brilliant light
to the start of the path of our dreams.
My love for you, my darling Jane
shall never go away
and my respect and faithfulness
will remain with you forever.
You are the woman I truly love,
and as I place this ring on your finger
the words I speak
come from my heart so strong and true.
With this ring....I thee wed
and take you as
my beloved wife.
