Welcoming You Home

Listening to the rain outside
My thoughts stay upon you,
Wishing that I was with by your side right now.
To be there when you get home,
Welcoming you home
As I hold you close to me.
Looking into your eyes,
Becoming lost within your beauty
As you smile so warmly at me.
Then I would kiss you tenderly,
Wanting to help you forget about your hard day,
Massage your back to help you relax
So that you could forget about your hard day.
Just to see you smile
Warms my heart so,
As I hear your angelic voice.
Oh sweet angel
Speak again,
So I may know that this is not a dream.
My hand gently touches
The side of your face
As I kiss you once again.
Then sweetly I whisper to you
So lovingly,
“I love you my darling …..
Welcome home.”
