IT was believed that the Green Forest (which can be found right in the middle of the Xycrus map) is the most dangerous place for those who had short lives. That belief has been passed down to generations that gave the people of Xycrus (the name of the land outside the border of the Green Forest) a warning not to enter the said territory.

However, there were some mortals who dared penetrate the land. Most of these people lost their way out, some had died, got sick and only few had successfully got out. Nobody got any idea what happened to their comrades who were left stuck inside. This event could have given the mortals a lesson not to disturb the forest.

But when a 15 year old girl from our own world was pulled into this land, things started to change. And Yoan had no choice but to live the destiny forced in her hands.

"Will you believe me if I tell you that if you walk deep in the forest, you will find another big forest? Sounds confusing, doesn’t it? Another forest inside a forest. Anyways, they say that it was called the ‘Green Forest’. And there’s also a rumor that it was magical and at the same time— dangerous. Because who ever goes in, can never go out." Read Chapter

Eon stopped on his tracks and toured his eyes around the place. They were already at center of the Green Forest and he found it very strange that the surroundings inside was so quiet.
They’re watching us. He thought as he unconsciously tightened his grip to the long blade he was carrying on his right hand.
He scanned every branch of every tree around him. They were empty.
If the rumors were true that the beasts who were living there could talk, then they can also think…
Now, where are they hiding?

Ernie waved his wings again as if telling him not to panic. “No need to worry. They are all asleep, well, except for old Samoan. He’s the only tree in the Green Forest who has not yet fallen into a deep slumber. Though, we noticed he often sleeps these past few years. And it was already so hard for him to wake up. I wouldn’t be surprised if he also fell into a deep sleep. And I tell you, kid. As soon as all the trees went into a deep slumber and never wake up again, it will be the end of the Green Forest." She heard their conversation and turned her gaze to the two elephants. They were really talking to each other! It was then that she realized her current situation. The idea of being killed alone in that strange forest by these wild animals had completely struck her.
That’s not all, a large green snake in which Yoan had quickly recognized as a boa crawled forward. It raised its head towards the stunned lass, stared at her green eyes and winked its own tiny, scary brown eyes.
“Welcome back to the Green Forest, My Lady.” It said and respectfully bowed its head.
The snake’s last action was quickly followed by all the present animals. They all bowed their heads in front of the astounded Yoan.

Yoan was still hesitating while looking at the fearless stallion. “But I don’t know if I can ride him.”
“Oh, he knows how to carry You. He’s You’re ve loyal servant.” Said the fox and turned his gaze to the horse. “Right, horsie?”
The stallion did not reply.
“I forgot, he only speaks to You.” Said the fox, smiling.
Yoan stared at the stallion’s brown eyes as she reached and caressed his back. The stallion just closed its own eyes calmly.
He’s harmless.

“I am not underestimating the young masters’ powers.” Owen answered in a deep calm voice. “The place was already surrounded by the dark enemies. It will not be long and the Green Forest will be no more. It is a bad omen. In the near future, a war will take place in all of the lands and that includes the land of the immortals. ” Read Chapter

“Easy, Eon! Everybody knows that he was just joking.” Karl answered and turned to his guests who were the townspeople of Azirett. “Right, Fellas?!”
Those who were asked answered in affirmative at once.
This Eon guy doesn’t seem to be just an ordinary man. I wonder what he looks like. Yoan thought but didn’t dare turn her head to make a quick glance at him. Read Chapter

All of their eyes were showing the intent to kill the man who was already unconscious on the ground. But still, none of them stopped.
“No…” Yoan whispered. He’s going to die. That man’s going to be killed if I don’t do anything. “Stop it…” They’re going to kill him. “Stop it!” I have to stop them. “DON’T KILL HIM!” she yelled.

YOAN’s hold on her sword slipped and it fell on the ground with a loud clang. She breathed heavily as she knelt down to rest for a while. She wiped the sweat from her face and watched Eon sat down in front of her. His handsome face, which didn’t even break a sweat, smiled at her.
“So tell me.” He said. “Is this really your first time to hold a sword?”
She just nodded, feeling too tired to speak.
“Why, lad.” His grin widened and Yoan thought she felt a thud in her chest. “I say, you’re a natural born fighter.”
She stared at him. Thinking of so many ways to keep herself from doing the unthinkable. “I am?”

Estelle clicked her tongue. “Well, it’s a good thing he’s a boy and not a girl. You would surely like her, don’t you think?”
“Well…” he said, trying to imagine a mature feminine Yoan with a long brown hair. “Wow. She would be so stunning; she doesn’t need to learn how to fight, because everyone would throw their selves on her feet to protect her.” He laughed when Estelle made a face. “Enough with Yoan. He’s a boy, so there’s no need to think of him as a girl. Let’s go and hunt, they’re waiting.”

She turned her attention back to Eon who has finally noticed the Stallion beside her. He then shifted his gaze to hers; his eyes were a mixture of hurt and distrust. “Just who really are you?” He asked, barely a whisper as he gritted his teeth.
Yoan’s hand that still held the stallion’s mane tightened nervously. She felt Light moved closer to her, giving her a bit of courage. “I–” she started to say but the panicked shrieks from the sky drowned her voice.
