Into the Sound,

Round & round,

Creeping softly,

Clutching hopefully.

It’s coming soon.

Widening the gap.

You’re watching them flitter softly.

It bleeds you dry.

Then what’s left.

Is filled by what’s there.

Black bile to suffocate.

Starts at the heart.

Weaves like a dream.

You start to shake.

Start to quake.

Too much now.

Hollow eyes to hollow heart.

You smile and learn to sail without a chart.
