Going nowhere, will be there soon

Empty building, never any room

Wanting nothing, having little more

Leaving something, a step toward the door

Remembering everything, wanting to forget Life without hope, full of regret

One foot forward, still moving back

It's only walking, can't get the knack

Leaving would be easy, if it wasn't so hard

Wishing she could leave now, with a life unscarred

Reaching for courage, tempting fate

Needs to act now, before it's to late
