Goodbye beautiful bird

It’s been dreary now for several months

Everything is tainted and stained

Except the memory of you I saved

Hidden in the corners of my beautiful abyss

I pull out your smile, especially when I feel fragile

Goodbye beautiful bird

The rain has been ongoing

No sun light to dance across my face

Making shadows

You know you’ll never be replaced

Goodbye Beautiful bird

I fear if I don’t say goodbye

The darkness will swallow me whole

The amount of tears won’t guide me home

I’ll just drown in their river

Goodbye Beautiful Bird

No more sorrow for you now,

You wouldn’t ask me to stay in pain

Goodbye Beautiful Bird
