“Hello?” she whispered looking franticly from left to right, “is anyone there?” She lifted her right leg and cautiously placed it in front of her, toe first. Her back like a boiler, getting hotter and hotter as her eyes start losing focus from the blinding white emptiness. She couldn’t control her emotions, as if they were flying around her, millions, and billions, she sank to her knees with a loud thump that sent the pain climbing up her body and her mouth drops gasping for air. “How did this happen to me again? Why is this always happening.... I don’t understand,”she whimpered to herself, “okay, calm down, take in three deep breaths. 1. 2.” She sucked in all the air possible and bit by bit she blew them back out into reality. She unlocked her eyes gradually allowing them to glance from her feet under the blankets to the specked ceiling. “MICHELLE,” her mother screams from the stairs, “DID YOU NOT HEAR ME? IT’S TIME FOR DINNER.”She sat up in despair, surveying her cluttered room as she forces the thought out of her head and with her strength-less legs, she trotted out her room.
