In Desperation…

In desperation I plead with you,

Beg you to stay,

Shed my tears,

Which you won’t wipe away.

I run to the kitchen,

And grab knife,

Push it into my pulse,

And drain my life.

As you turn back,

To tell me goodbye,

You see I am gone,

Shake your head and cry.

If you could go back,

Would you have stayed?

Now that you know

It was a life you could have saved?
