Summary

I resently posted a poem about my current feelings towards my brother, but everyone deserves to also know our past.

He Saved Me and He Didn't Know It

My skin is cold as ice

My tears stinging my cheek

"He really is nice"

Words I will no longer speak

The door stabs into my side

My defenses down

He doesn't care that I cry

No one to hear my scream around

So I pray

Send my a Savior today

Before my innocence is taken

On my own, so forsaken

Helpless in the arms of a boy

Nothing more than his little toy

Lord save me from this hell

I told him I'd never tell

Give me a Savior

Then I hear that sound

The sound of his laughter

The sound of his grin

I knew this is what he was after

Committing this terrible sin

His hand going places it shouldn't

It hurts in so many degrees

I should have left him but couldn't

So I pray

Send me a Savior today

Before my innocence is taken

On my own, so forsaken

Helpless in the arms of a boy

Nothing more than his little toy

Lord save me from this hell

I told him I'd never tell

Then I hear that sound

The sound of the car unlocking

My heart starts to race

Then he stops his evil talking

He walks across the lot at a steady pace

His harsh words that yell

Nothing sounded so sweet

In that moment the demon fell

The savior I had been waiting to meet

My brother standing in the sun's light

My brother that fought the fight

He is the one to make him break

He saved me from being raped.....

So I pray,

God you sent me a Savior today

My innocence almost taken

I felt so forsaken

Saved by a boy I always knew

But the boy I once saw, grew

He saved me from the hell

But he never did tell

You gave me a savoir

And that forgiving sound

Skin warm and covered twice

Though I still felt weak

'Maybe he really is nice'

Something he won't hear me speak
