I Tried to Heal You
Eyes deeper than the ocean blue
Laugh as innocent as a child
I loved her more than I ever knew
But I just can't let myself go wild
I can't trust her replies
Never knowing if I'll see her again
My heart stop not one but two times
I'm dangering myself just being her friend
How can someone be in so much pain?
Why does she have to live this way?
She won't see the sun but only the rain
Even my own eyes start to fade
Always on the edge of suicide
If she kills herself then I'll die
What should I do?
A giggle slips into my memory
A time when everything was fine
I can't hide the fear in me
Was she really ever mine?
Kisses and hugs so tight
Now we're both on our own
Neither of us have the strength to fight
Both, by the world, chewed to the bone
How can someone be in so much pain?
Why does she have to live this way
She won't see the sun but only the rain
Even my own eyes start to fade
Always on the edge of suicide
If she kills herself then I'll die
What am I going to do?
I hope to God she'll understand
I can't even fix myself
I don't want her to feel abandoned
I can only worry about my own health
Don't cry tonight
Don't pull out the blade that "ends" your pain
I promise it'll be alright
You don't have to feel any shame
I have the scars that match
I have the scars that say your name
But right now your fears I can't seem to catch
I hope you can see this from my veiw
I just want you to know one thing
I tried to heal you

You gave me the strength to fight. Never again will scare you. Beginning today I WILL be alright in everything I do. I read a passage in a book that made me realize how silly and selfish I'm being and therefore I will fight. Even if it hurts I will fight through these tears. I will fight in your name even if youre not allowed to date me again. Youre in my heart. Dont cry. Dont put my name onto your arms. Smile. You fixed me:)

Well I can honestly say that this is one of the best poems I've ever read. It's really beautiful how your words flow.
