Bodies of Stone

Kids like us
We don’t smile
We don’t laugh
And we won’t die
We crave the image
Of an adult world
A tall full body
‘A responsible girl’
Yet all we do is lure and devour
Our cute china smiles
From hour upon hour
Soft bouncy hair
Clotted in blood
Our life a misery
Yearning the sun
There’s no escape
Until our skin’s exposed
And we’re taken by fate
Those bodies of stone
