In this case it's a window!
What do I see through it? Every day I come on my computer with my desk facing my window. This is what I see... and what I want to see.
A poem that literally took about two minutes! xD

My Looking Glass

Looking out my window

What’s a girl to see?

Blackened glass, bright street lamps

And moving pictures on TVs.

The day is dark yet the night is young

The fox comes out to play

The clouds are white with hopeful snow

And a misty fog reaches far away

I see chimneys, trees and aerials

Insects, birds and steam

No flowers grow, no leaves at all

Except for on the Evergreens

There’s one bright light in the distance

I wish it were in space

I want aliens from high above

To take me far away

But dreams of mystic wonderlands

And hopes that it will snow

Are just my wishes for this world

But the chance for these are low

Still I’ll sit and stare out far

As I watch the time around me pass

Protected from the world outside

Here, behind my looking glass

That is a very nice poem. My poems are more about the mystical world and things that do and don't exist. Keep up the good work.
