Shit.

There was no other way to say it. All the stories… all of those constant stories, they had been true! Death… the Grim Reaper himself was truly shrouded in a black cloak and thick black hood. I couldn’t make out any facial features except for two deep emerald eyes. They were almost cat-like in nature, the way the pupil was shaped like a thin line instead of a plump circle.
Then I looked to his hands, though all I could see were leather gloves; I was more interested with the Scythe that he held. A thin black pole with a large curved blade, the perfect weapon to ‘reap’ souls I had guessed.

He was real.
And he was there.
For me.

Lily was born with a very rare disorder, a split personality syndrome so terrifying that even her parents abandoned her. Heart broken and alone, Lily waves goodbye to her life with a last minute, unplanned resort.

When Lily comes face to face with the bringer of Death himself, she feels for the first time that she's met her escape; but something happens.

When Lily finds herself lying on the floor, alive, she has to find out why; but the more answers she tries to uncover, the more questions that are risen. Can she track the Grim Reaper down, or will he even care enough to help her?

A humorous take on the Grim Reaper and a desperate teenager that won't leave him alone 'til she dies.
