I couldn’t help but be captivated by the way she threw her head back while her eyes shined brightly. Vibrant green eyes, they were beautiful to say the very least. I enjoyed looking at her admiring the sense of power that shimmered around her. She was a green eyed redhead with an hourglass figure. There was no denying that she was made for me. God had somehow realized what I would be looking for and here she was. She was the perfect woman, the perfect victim. Smiling, I realized that I was tired of simply watching and decided it was time to meet her.

“Hello, I’m Ivy.” I said as I approached her with my charming smile.
“Hey there, I’m Grace. It’s nice to meet you.” Grace said smiling back at me.
“It’s nice to meet you as well. Anyway, Grace I was curious about whether you were here with anyone?” I asked and watched her eyes as she blushed.
“I-I…well no. I’m actually here alone though I was just about to leave.”
“Oh that’s a shame.”
“Is it?”
“Yes, yes it is.”
“Why?” Grace asked as she looked up at me seeing how she was about 5’8” and I was close to six feet tall.
“Well I was going to ask you to have a drink with me, get to know you, get drunk, take you to my place, or we could go to yours and have my way with you.” I said as a grin appeared on my face while she looked at me with a dumbfounded look upon her face.
“Um I-I…you-you’re g-gay?”
“Out all that, you ask if I am gay. Yes, Grace I am gay.” I said with a sigh.
“O-oh well um, I’d love to go with you but I can’t stay the night.” Grace said all the while blushing.
“I would ask why but let’s just go.” I said smiling.
Oh dear Grace, if you only knew what was a waiting for you. Looking down at her I smiled and walked out the bar with her following close behind me. Hmm if only she knew that she wasn’t going to go home tonight. Chuckling to myself I walked towards my car and watched as she walked to the passenger seat. I figured she didn’t have a car and shrugged it off unlocking my car, it worked out in the end for me.
***
“What the hell! Where am I Ivy, and why am I tied up.” Grace woke up and after a moment of confusion she began screaming as she looked at Ivy who was sitting on the bed while Grace struggled against the rope. Of course, seeing how mental she was acting Grace continued to fidget until she fell over along with the chair she was tied to.
“You know, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t hurt yourself that is after all, my job.” I said as I looked at her.
Chuckling, I stood up and walked to where she was. Looking down I chuckled softly before pulling the chair up along with her.
“Ivy, why am I tied up?”
“Because I tied you up.” I simply said as I sat down back on my bed.
“Well then untie me.”
“No.”
“I-Ivy you may be into this whole kinky shit but I am not so untie me right now God damn it!” Grace screamed as she struggled in her restrains again.
“Oh but what’s the fun in that. Oh, and by the way there’s nothing sexual about you being tied Grace. It’s just a good old fashioned kidnapping, with of course a little bit of torture here and there.” I said with a wide grin.
“Th-this isn’t funny Ivy, let me go!” Grace screamed as she looked at Ivy.
She had changed. No longer did she seem like that sophisticated blonde she had seen at the bar. No, staring at Ivy, Grace saw a tall, raven haired woman with electric blue eyes staring at her. There was amusement and something animalistic in her eyes as she looked at Grace, almost as if she considered Grace to be some sort of prey and she the predator.
“Now now Grace, no screaming please, it does irritate me and unless you want to get hurt I ask that you please be quite.”
“No! I will scream until someone hears me and they come looking for me you crazy bitch!”
“Very well.” Ivy said with a grin as she walked towards Grace.
Grace realizing that she went overboard, tried to back away as she noticed the coldness in Ivy’s eyes but realized that she couldn’t move. After all she was tied down to a chair.
I watched as Grace’s eyes became wide with fear. It was funny how she tried to move away when she couldn’t. Though she did amuse me it didn’t stop me from grabbing her hair and forcefully pulling her hair along with her head back making her yelp in pain and me smile in amusement.
“Look here my dear Grace, when I ask you to do something I want it done. Of course, you can agree with me and make things easier on you and me or you can ignore my requests and make things harder on you and fun for me. Do you understand?” I asked as I looked down at her tear filled eyes.
“Y-yes.” Grace stuttered as she looked up at me.
“Good.” I said letting her hair go but not before slapping her across the face for good measurement.
Smiling I watched as she let a sob out and went back to my previous position watching her. Slowly, Grace began to quiet down and look up at me with hatred burning in her eyes.
“I hate you.” Grace whispered but soon stopped and looked at me with wide eyes.
I knew what she was thinking. She thought I was going to hit her, maybe even kill her for it but I wasn’t that crazy. Well that’s not true, I probably would have if it was anyone else but Grace. However, it was Grace so I just let it go and made sure I calmed the monster inside of me. It wasn’t time yet. Usually I would just have let myself get lost with the monster that was a part of me. I would enjoy my victim’s cries of pain and enjoy the fear in their eyes but there was something about Grace that made me want to wait.
“You wouldn’t be the first to feel that way.” I said with a smile as I looked at her.
***
“I have a daughter Ivy.” Grace whispered as she looked down at her lap.
I looked at her and saw tears running down her rosy cheeks. She was crying, what a shame. Of course, I must admit that she surprised me when she said she had a daughter. I didn’t expect that, however, now that I had that information I contemplated how I was going to use that against her.
“Did you hear me? Ivy I have a child. She’s only two years old, you have to let me go.” Grace implored as she finally looked up and into Ivy’s eyes which still held nothing but coldness.
“I heard you Grace.” I whispered as I thought about things. I knew I needed to take care of Grace. She was after all my victim, which made me think.
“That’s all you have to say!” Grace suddenly screamed making me raise an eyebrow at her.
Thinking about it, I was getting tired of Grace crying and whimpering. I was getting tired of her. Smiling I thought of a plan and finally decided to break her. Sighing I looked over at my computer and noticed something that wasn’t there before. About a dozen men were waiting outside of the building. Strange, glaring at the screen I watched as the men walked in through the door. Two headed our way while the rest went to the opposite side where music was playing.
I thought about how easily they had found me this time and looked over at Grace. I knew how to get away with or without her. I just didn’t know whether I wanted to get away with or without her. Looking back at the screen I noticed that the two men separated and one came or way while the other one went down the hall way.
 “I’ll let you go Grace.”
“Really?” Grace asked with so much hope as she looked at me.
“Yes, but you have to do something.”
“Wh-what do I have to do?” Grace asked me cautiously.
“Kill someone.” I whispered as I turned to look at the screen.
“No! I c-can’t do that.” Grace said as she looked at me, horror spread all over her face.
“Okay then you die, and your daughter becomes an orphan.” I said smiling at her as I pulled one of my guns from behind my back.”
“W-wait!” Grace screamed as she looked at me a glint in her eyes.
***
I couldn’t help but admire her as she stood there in all her glory. I admit I didn’t think she had it in her, but as I watched her, I knew she was determined to survive. Of course, I wanted her to enjoy herself like I did, but I could see that she wasn’t. In fact, if I wasn’t mistaken I would have to say that she was paralyzed. It was probably from shock. I couldn’t understand why she would be shocked though. She was fighting for her daughter. Chuckling I continued to look at her until I got bored. Deciding I had enough, I slowly walked behind her and placed my hands on her shoulders.
“Grace.” I softly whispered her name into her ear as I ran my hands down her arms till they were resting over hers.
After receiving no response, I figured her body had shut down. It was a shame to be honest. I was hoping to share this intimate moment with her but of course her puny conscious had to interfere. Sighing I rested my finger over hers, which was still over the trigger and again I whispered her name hoping she would snap out of her thoughts, but again I was met with silence.
I let go of her and moved till I was in front of her. I couldn’t help it. I enjoyed looking into her eyes. I loved what I saw in them; pain, mortification, fear, and unsurprisingly guilt. I found all these emotions quite pleasing. So pleasing, in fact, that I couldn’t help but get lost in her eyes that is until I heard a voice outside the door.
I moved behind Grace again, placing my finger over hers and holding her hands upright the gun pointed at the door. I waited, but the moment I pressed my body behind her I lost my train of thought until a tall blonde man entered through the door with a gun facing us. Without thinking I quickly shot him in between his eyes and watched as he fell onto the floor.
Anger coursed through my veins as I realized that I had lost my train of thought. All thanks to some stupid woman, who for some reason I couldn’t help but want to keep alive. Shaking my head, I quickly took the gun from Grace’s hands and pushed her on the ground, not caring about her. Sure, I wanted her alive, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t get hurt, at that moment I really wanted her to hurt. I would not die because of this slut.
Kicking her feet away I grabbed a second gun from my back and walked out the door and towards the stairs. I knew there would be others coming for me. Coming for Grace. They wanted me dead. They wanted her safe. I couldn’t let that happen. She was mine. My victim. My prey. Anger spread throughout my body as I walked upstairs only to come face to face with about ten men. Without thinking, I began to shoot them while trying to get some cover.
I had been lucky. They hadn’t been waiting for me to come get them. No, they wanted to corner me and kill me but I wouldn’t let them. I was no one’s prey. Not even the almighty FBI’s. I was the predator. The killer. The psychopath. Grinning, I quickly stood up and began to shoot again and before I knew it, everyone was dead.
Looking down at myself, I grimaced. My black tank top was wet. It could have been from sweat. Maybe, but in the end I knew that most of it was blood. Smiling, I slowly ran my fingers down my shirt over the wet substance. I was so lost in thought. I was happy. I was enjoying myself as I looked at all the bodies lying around me. But of course, it all ended once I heard a loud pain filled wail coming from downstairs. Grinning, I realized that the shock had left Grace’s body and she was now recalling the past events. Sighing I looked around me one last time before walking back downstairs to the green eyed beauty that intrigued me enough to not kill her.
“I’m coming.” I whispered to myself as an ear to ear grin appeared on my face.
***
“How can I trust you to let me go? You told me the same thing last time and I’m still here Ivy. So tell me, why should I trust you to let me go?”
“Look Grace, I promise you, if you kill him and make his death entertaining enough. I will let you go.”
I looked at her and watched her as she thought about it. Why did it anger me that she wanted to leave me? Why did I want her to be near me and enjoy my life?
“Fine, I’ll do it.” Grace finally said breaking me away from my thoughts.
“Great, you can begin.” I said as I moved away.
“You aren’t going to help me?”
“No, it’s your job to figure out how to kill him.”
“Please Ivy, you must help me.”
“Do you want to kill him together?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.
“N-no…I mean yeas…well would that make it an entertaining death?”
“Yes, yes it would.” I said with a wicked smile.
***
“Grace.” I whispered her name as I looked at her looking at the body.
“Yes?”
“Will you be okay?” I asked knowing already knowing what her answer was.
“No…yes…I don’t know.” Grace whispered as she looked at me with a haunted look in her eyes.
“Okay.” I said smiling.
I was happy. I was excited beyond believe. We had killed him together. I held her hand as she drove the knife though his skin and into his. Looking at her I felt something grow within me. I was curious about it. It was a nice feeling though. I liked it, and it seemed to get stronger the longer I was near Grace.
“I’m leaving now.” Grace said as she stood up interrupting my thoughts.
“B-but, I thought you enjoyed what we just did.”
“E-enjoy…did you really expect me to enjoy that shit! I didn’t enjoy killing that man. I’m not the monster here. You are. You’re the one that enjoys this not I.” Grace screamed at me.
I looked at her and the feeling I once felt changed. It was still there but it was different. It began to hurt me. Shaking my head I looked down and began to think. She was mine. My victim. I wouldn’t let her go, I couldn’t. Realizing that she was going to die soon I looked up at her, a smile over my lips.
“Okay. Oh and Grace before you leave. Can I ask for a kiss?” I asked as I looked at her.
I knew I could have just stolen a kiss but I didn’t want that. Not even the monster inside of me wanted that. I wanted her to kiss me. I wanted her to want to kiss me.
“Okay, but I’m leaving as soon as it’s over.”
 “Okay.”
Grace walked towards me and brought her hand to my cheek where she cupped it gently in her palm. Soon Grace had her lips over mine and I closed my eyes. It wasn’t a heated lustful kiss. It was a goodbye kiss. Grace pulled back from me and let my cheek go making me miss her touch immediately.
“If you see me as a monster, why did you kiss me?”
“Because Ivy, even monsters need love.” Grace said as she turned around and began to walk away.
Love. What a funny word. Did she actually believe I needed love, I didn’t need love, I didn’t. Laughing lightly, I looked up and watched the back of Grace’s head fading away. Sighing, I grabbed my gun and looked at her back before calling her name.
 “Grace!”
Grace turned around and the last thing I saw was hate and shock in her eyes before I shot her, the bullet going in between her eyes. I watched as she fell onto the ground and shrugged. I didn’t know if what I felt for her was love, but whatever it was, it had made me weak and for that Grace had to die or in the end I knew I would be the one dead.

~~I couldn’t help but be captivated by the way she threw her head back while her eyes shined brightly.
