He left the light on for her so that when she came home it'd be bright. He gave her a hug and kiss before she said goodnight. He crept up the stairs quiet as a mouse. Nobody was aware of the murderer in the house. After placing one last kiss upon her head, he raised the big knife and stabbed her to death. The children awoke to the sound of a siren. They had no idea of their father's crying. He killed his wife in front of their youngest son. A mere babe, the youngest of three. Before the cops caught him, he swung from a tree. The children were safe from that sight. They never found out the truth of that gruesome night.
