it is a dream ...a vision of the things to come...

i see the waves roll out

one balmy afternoon

as i walk barefoot

along the wet  sand

i love how it feels

to bury my foot

in the sticky mound

i smell the aroma

of brewing coffee

i gaze at you

all absorbed by the book

you are reading

but was disrupted suddenly

as you motioned to me

to get you a cup of coffee

i rushed to the kitchen

inside that house by the sea

kept warmed by the  love

of you and me

as you reach out to sip your coffee

my eyes opened wide

oh it was just a dream

a fantasy....a vision

of what will be...

Ti's a lovely write ...a straight narrative of wonderful everydayness, of enriched togetherness, of lyric flowing with people in loved sharing. Mig, these, I feel are more of prose narratives and they do have the value of being the 'novelistic' a term used by Barthes. Of course I love to be in it every moment. Yes the 'House By the Sea' is by coincidence as novel too written by Anita Desai, but here too it is a novel of meaning, waking and coming to life.
Love is there in every word as rich writing.

Thank you for taking time to read.I wish I could write again the way I used to. But it seems there is so much emptiness and loneliness because of the erratic communication links..It's sad that things have to be in this way..and it's so uncomfortable as i have become too sensitive and easily hurt in the process...only my tears keep me company..have you ingested much of the "laughing and forgetting " stuff?

This is very lovely! You create a dream of the future that many would want to inhabit. It is a dream of home and family. I like this one very much.
