Veteran of mouth-running skirmishes

I am a battle-tested warrior of the online war
I am not wounded when I'm given what-for

I load word ammunition and return fire
with no qualms or hesitation for another liar

Not pinned down or chagrined in the least
For I am the returner, the electronic beast

I have facts and calmness on my side,
there's a hole in their logic a mile wide

We exchange insults like gifts of the damned,
into the wood chipper we're virtually slammed

But I'll take incoming all the live long day,
Lead, unfollow, or get out of the way!

Hay! You have the option to just let their comments go. Everyone has an opinion, some forceful, some disgraceful. Turn them around in your head and make fun of their views, in some way. Recently i got on a mad thought with a view in the wee hours. Which in turned made me go bonkers with a few poems. The ones too caught up in the emotional will only see their pain and anger, and lash out just because. So don't take it personal.

Words can act as bullets for sure. Anyone who wishes to survive in this word needs to learn how to be bulletproofed.
