Inhabit the swamp

Lil' Slither was a happy snake, living his days

on the shore of the swamp made possible by the ways

of his con man name, his name for the peons, The Donald!

He ate cheeseburgers at the home of Underwater Clown Ronald

Luxuriated in the slimy mud, luxuriated in the muck,

and about anyone but himself, he didn't give a f***

Spouted simplistic slogans and spouted simplistic lies

promised with ease, while thinking of what graft buys

The peasants who lined the shore were so easy to fool,

he learned that bullshit and a hat were his greatest tools

He only showed his supporters one of his two faces.

the plastered smile one, and cared only about his base.

They begged for a savior, they wanted great stuff,

So he promised the moon and stars, sure enough,

but all the while he fed them crumbs while he ate steak

and thought only of how much he would make

He expanded his trance, some lived in delusion,

Just wait, he thought, for your massive confusion

when you come home, and your house is cleaned out,

before you suddenly realize what I was all about!
