From my window

A collaboration between Hullabaloo22 and myself:

Looking outwards, round the world, I just seem to see,

that everything is different now, not like it used to be.

It’s fragments here, and struggles there, and don’t ignore the threat,

diplomacy is failing and the past is what we get;

it’s all about the self, and giving no thought for another,

intolerance is rampant, civil thought just smother.

We’re on a course of mass destruction; we’re heading for the brink,

if things do not start changing soon the world is gonna sink.

That we've a mess, there can't be any more doubt,

if we don't fix this, and immediately, it'll be over and out

The flawed vision of both policies and presidents,

are pushing us towards the brink, and past-tense

More worrisome is the many who live in their own delusion bubble,

that our path is correct, they don't see we're in serious trouble
